Yes but they do it by competing with/destroying local textile/shoe manufacturing industries and, consequently, hampering the economies of the communities and nations they aim to help. All of which creates a dependence on foreign aid which keeps them (Toms) in business.
^TOMS shoes is a pretty big cog in the White Savior Industrial Complex, so even if they never “officially” partnered with FOTF, they’re still a pretty shitty company pretending to be good.
